We are seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens position in Oak Bluffs, MA (Martha's Vineyard). This is a night shift opportunity in an emergency department at a Critical Access Hospital, a community setting with limited onsite specialty support. Please see below for more information.
- 25 beds (Critical Access Hospital)
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Care for an all-ages patient population, including pediatric patients (approximately 14% pediatric volume)
Manage an average daily census of 20-24 patients (approximately 2.5-3 patients per hour) in a community ED with limited onsite specialty backup
Qualifications
Massachusetts medical license
DEA registration
ACLS
Working Hours
Scheduled coverage, no call
