- Dates: ASAP; Duration: 1 year
- Shifts: 6a-6p and 6p-6a; on-site; weekends and nights included
- No CAll
- Patient volumes (avg/day): Rockport 45; Portland 60; Northwest 60; Doctors Regional 80
- Admissions: ~10% at FSEDs (Portland, Rockport); ~20% at Doctors Regional
- Acuity/Trauma: High acuity at all sites; Level IV trauma at Doctors Regional and Northwest; Portland and Rockport are not trauma centers
- Procedures required: Intubations, central lines, bedside ultrasound, OB deliveries, dislocation reductions, chest tubes, trauma management, laceration repair; manage STEMI and strokes
- Consults: Yes, multiple per day
- Support staff: APP coverage at each site
- EMR: Meditech
- Certifications: ABEM, ABFM or ABIM with ED experience accepted; NON-ABEM accepted for FSEDs
- Experience: ≥2 years ED experience to work in FSEDs, or Family Medicine with EM fellowship
- Credentialing: No emergency/temporary privileges; case logs required
