Locums | Emergency Medicine | Poplar Bluff, MO (Active MO License Required) Why This Role

  • Ongoing coverage with three physicians requested
  • Day, mid, and night shifts available
  • No call responsibilities
  • Three APPs supporting the emergency department
  • Broad 24-hour specialty and diagnostic support
Assignment Details Start: As soon as credentialed Duration: Ongoing Setting: Emergency Department Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours with no call Department: 26 beds Patient volume: Approximately 20–24 patients per shift EMR: Cerner Multiple providers may be accepted Provider must reside more than 90 miles from the facility Schedule Day shift: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. Mid shift: 10:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m. Night shift: 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Weekend availability required Clinical Environment Full-scope adult and pediatric Emergency Medicine Labor and delivery department onsite Newborn deliveries are not received through the ED 24-hour support includes: - Anesthesia - Cardiac catheterization laboratory - General Surgery - Laboratory - Orthopedic Surgery - Radiology - Vascular Surgery - Operating-room response Support Three advanced practice providers No APP supervision required No resident or teaching responsibilities Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Emergency Medicine residency training Active Missouri medical license Active Missouri DEA Active ACLS through the AHA or American Red Cross Active BLS through the AHA or American Red Cross Active PALS through the AHA or American Red Cross Active NRP All certifications must remain current throughout the assignment Weekend and varied-shift availability required Provider must be contracted with the presenting agency before submission Required Submission Information Personal phone number Active Missouri license number Active Missouri DEA number Personal email address Home address confirming residence more than 90 miles away MD or DO designation Date of birth Credentialing Estimated timeframe: Approximately 120 days Temporary privileges are not available Credentialing documents must be submitted by the onboarding deadline
