• Excellent locum opportunity for a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician in a community-based critical access hospital setting.
• Provider will work in a fast-paced Emergency Department caring for patients across all age groups.
• Ideal for physicians with rural or community emergency medicine experience who can work independently with limited onsite specialty support.
• Hospital-supported housing and ferry transportation available for selected providers.

Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.
• Provide emergency stabilization and coordinate care with hospital teams when needed.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EPIC EMR.
• Deliver high-quality emergency care in a critical access environment.
Qualifications
• Internal Medicine or Family Medicine candidates will not be considered.
• Active Massachusetts Medical License required.
• ACLS certification required.
• DEA required.
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience required.
• Recent community or rural ED experience preferred.
Working Hours
• 3-month assignment beginning September 2026
• September shifts:
• 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• October – December shifts:
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• No call required
