Job description
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens position in Florence, OR. This is a solo-coverage ER opportunity at a critical access hospital, with day, mid, and night shifts available. Please see below for more information.
Beds: 9 private monitored rooms (including 2 trauma/resuscitation bays) plus 3 triage treatment rooms
Trauma Level: IV (Critical Access)
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
See approximately 35–45 patients per day (12,000+ annual visits)
Work solo for portions of the shift
Care for patients of all ages and demographics
Manage trauma and resuscitation cases as needed
Qualifications
Active Oregon state license
DEA
ACLS
PALS
ATLS
Epic proficiency required
Working Hours
Day: 7:45a–7:45p
Mid: 10:00a–10:00p
Night: 7:45p–7:45a
Variable Sunday–Saturday
10–30 shifts per month
No call
Start Date: 7/1/2026 (orientation 6/18)
Contract Length: Through 12/8/2026
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
