We are seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens position in Santa Fe, NM. This is a day and night ER coverage opportunity at an acute care hospital with approximately 26,000 annual ED visits. Please see below for more information.
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Manage approximately 26,000 annual ED visits with an admission rate of 10%
Coordinate with the 4-bed open ICU and 6-bed Fast Track
Respond to floor codes
Utilize onsite radiology reads, CT, ultrasound, MRI, and bedside ultrasound
Care for adult patient population (no pediatric admissions)
Qualifications
Active New Mexico state license
DEA
BLS
ACLS
PALS
ATLS
Epic experience required
Working Hours
Day and night shifts available
Start Date: 7/6/2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
