We are seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a PRN locum tenens position in Inverness, FL. This is a flexible ER float pool coverage opportunity spanning a community hospital and an associated freestanding emergency department. Please see below for more information.
Beds: 204
Job Responsibilities
Cover both day and night shifts as available (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts)
Float between the main hospital site and the associated freestanding emergency department
Manage a moderate pace with low-to-moderate acuity, with occasional higher-acuity pockets
Provide community hospital emergency medicine
Qualifications
Active Florida state license
DEA
Working Hours
Start Date: 8/3/2026
Contract Length: Ongoing
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
