Job description
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a PRN locum tenens position in Hudson, FL. This is a flexible ER coverage opportunity at a busy community Level II trauma center, with coverage potentially extending to associated freestanding emergency departments. Please see below for more information.
Beds: 30-bed ED, 5-bed Fast Track, 2 trauma bay rooms
Trauma Level: II
EMR: Meditech (Pdoc with M Modal Voice Dictation)
Job Responsibilities
Cover both day and night shifts as available (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts)
Manage emergency cases at a Level II trauma center
Cover associated freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs) as needed
Care for an older, medically complex patient population
Collaborate with onsite trauma surgeons and 24/7 in-house anesthesia
Work within an academic environment alongside Internal Medicine residents and medical students
Utilize subspecialty backup support
Qualifications
Active Florida state license (IMLC accepted)
DEA
ATLS
Working Hours
Start Date: ASAP (August 3, 2026)
