We are seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens night coverage position in Oak Bluffs, MA. This is an evening and overnight ER coverage opportunity at a critical access hospital in a community/island setting. Please see below for more information.
- Beds: 25
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Manage an average daily census of 20–24 patients per day (approximately 2.5–3 patients per hour)
Care for patients of all ages, including a pediatric volume of approximately 14%
Work within a community/critical access setting with limited onsite specialty support
Qualifications
Active Massachusetts state license
Massachusetts DEA
ACLS
Working Hours
September: evening/night shifts (3:00p–12:00a) and (10:00p–7:00a)
October–December: nights (7:00p–7:00a)
Approximately 10–13 shifts per month
Start Date: 9/1/2026
Contract Length: 3 months
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
