• Seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Devils Lake, North Dakota.
• This position is ideal for physicians comfortable managing varying patient acuity levels in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
• Strong preference for providers available for night shifts.
• The facility offers excellent clinical support with 24/7 radiology and laboratory services.
• Coverage is needed during a transitional staffing period.

Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and critical conditions across all age groups
• Perform emergency procedures and trauma care as needed
• Collaborate with emergency nursing staff, radiology team, lab technicians, and hospitalists
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Ensure high-quality patient-centered emergency care in accordance with hospital protocols
• Respond effectively to high-acuity and urgent care situations
Qualifications
• Active Medical License – Required
• ATLS Certification – Required
• ACLS Certification – Required
• PALS Certification – Required
• NRP Certification – Required
• Previous Emergency Department experience preferred
Working Hours
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
