Seeking BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join team in Bridgeport, Connecticut
Position Highlights:
Practice at a Level II Trauma Center treating Level I acuity patients
64-bed emergency department with more than 60,000 annual visits
473-bed community teaching hospital
Strong physician and nursing retention with collaborative culture
Scribe support during busiest shifts
Separate Fast Track/Urgent Care area for improved patient flow
Excellent specialty backup including intensivists, trauma surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and hospitalists
Academic and teaching environment
Responsibilities:
Provide emergency medical care for patients of varying acuity
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
Participate in departmental quality and patient care initiatives
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
Active Connecticut license or ability to obtain
