Exciting locums opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a high-volume emergency department in Tahlequah, OK. The facility manages over 200+ patients daily across the ED and Urgent Care and offers strong specialist backup support in a collaborative environment. Providers should be comfortable treating patients of all ages and handling a broad range of emergency cases.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage acute and chronic emergency presentations
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critical patients
• Collaborate with hospitalists and specialty teams for patient care coordination
• Document encounters accurately using Cerner EMR
• Maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred
• FM physicians with strong ED experience will also be considered
• Active Oklahoma medical license required
• DEA certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications required
Working Hours
• 3 shifts per week
• Mix of day and night shifts
• Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
• Start ASAP | 13-week assignment
Skills

• Strong procedural and communication skills
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
