Job description
We are seeking a Nocturnist Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Live Oak, FL. This is a 6-month engagement with the option to extend at an acute care hospital with both a freestanding emergency department and main facility. Please see below for more information.
119 beds (FSED and Main combined)
Rural community patient population
Job Responsibilities
Manage daily patient volume (Main ED: ~172/day; FSED: ~70/day)
Manage approximately 30 daily admissions
Perform required procedures including intubation, central lines, and chest tube placement
Manage ventilated patients
Qualifications
Active Florida medical license required; IMLC accepted
Must reside 50+ miles from facility
Working Hours
No call required
Scheduled coverage model
Orientation: 2-hour onboarding plus two shadow shifts
