Critical Care Intensivist Opening – Tennessee Located in Jackson, Tennessee About the Position -Provide critical care services in the hospital ICU -12-hour block schedule with 3 intensivists during the day and 1 intensivist at night -Lead daily ICU multidisciplinary rounds -Supervise teaching rounds and resident clinical activities when applicable -Participate in quality management, protocol development, and morbidity and mortality review activities -Participate in medical and audit activities within the hospital and Critical Care Program Program Highlights -29-bed SICU -12-bed MICU -18-bed CCU -High-acuity ICU with advanced cardiac support and critical care capabilities -Advanced technologies and therapies include Impella, IABP, ECMO, proning for ARDS, SLED, and SCUF -EPIC EMR Compensation and Benefits -Up to $120,000 in loan assistance -Sign-on bonus -Relocation assistance -403(b) -CME -Additional benefits package Practice Requirements -MD or DO -Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine -Successful completion of fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at an accredited institution -Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills -Ability to perform all technical skills in the critical care setting
