New Mexico - Emergency Medicine
- EM boarded/eligible only
- No J1 or H1B waivers
- Open to new grads for 2027 and any that would like to start this year
- 3 main hospitals plus 2 free standing ER/UC facilities
- Majority of shifts at hospital based ER’s
- High acuity at all locations; not a trauma designated hospital
- No solo coverage; always have other physicians and midlevel’s on shifts
- Clinical hours per year: 1,560
- 14-15 shifts per month
- 8, 9 and 10 hour shift lengths
- Patients per hour: 2-3
- Annual Salary: $350,376,; clinical hourly rate: $224.60
- Night Shift Diff: 21% ($47.17) for any scheduled hours after midnight
- Efficiency bonus (based off disposition per hour and RVU metrics): $60,000
- Sign on bonus: $25,000 for a 2 year commitment for local candidates; $37,500 (relocation assistance is included) for a 2 year commitment
- Options to do a higher sign on for another year commitment
- Can do residency stipends for residents
