Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity in North Augusta, SC
Great opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative emergency medicine team of 16 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers (APPs). Work in a stable nursing environment with excellent support—our nurses and ED staff are experienced, engaged, and great to collaborate with.
Position Highlights:
- 273-bed community hospital with a 30-bed emergency department, certified as a chest pain and stroke center
- Volume: 43K annual visits with 39 hours of daily physician coverage and 30 hours of APP coverage
- Deliver emergency care at a 10-bed freestanding emergency department in North Augusta, GA
- Volume: 23K annual visits with 24 hours of physician coverage and 12 hours of APP coverage daily
- Engage in teaching opportunities with APP students and internal/family medicine residents
- Flexible work schedule with independent contractor status
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in emergency medicine
- Authorized to work in the United States
