Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and compassionate emergency care to patients across all age groups.
  • Perform thorough assessments, establish diagnoses, and initiate appropriate treatment plans.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Document clinical evaluations and interventions accurately within medical records.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety procedures, and federal/state regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care processes.

Required Skills:
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license in the applicable state.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in emergency medical procedures and diagnostic tools.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with trauma and critical care.
  • Prior work in a Level I or Level II trauma center.
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
  • familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine practice or internship experience.
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to work night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate as needed.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and certification renewals.
