We are seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine physician for a full-time day position to join Salem Regional Medical Center to start by August 2026. The work schedule includes at least 120 hours of coverage per month. Independent Contractor (1099) status.
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
Salem Regional Medical Center provides 24/7/365 coverage and staff with board-certified emergency and family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. We utilize MediTech Expanse as our EMR and are staffed with excellent specialty backup, including interventional vascular radiology and neurosurgery, supportive nursing staff and administrative staff.
Emergency Department Statistics
- 17,000+ visits annually
- 15 emergency room beds
- Flexible scheduling including 8-hour shifts (APP) and 12-hour shifts (Physicians)
- 24-hours of MD coverage and 24/7 coverage with a swing shift during peak hours for APP coverage
- Low acuity patients
- Orthopedic treatment and surgery
- Neurology & Vascular Services
