🚑 Emergency Medicine PA Outreach
Job Responsibilities
Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care Coverage –
o Procedures : Laceration repair, abscess/paronychia I&D, ocular/auricular/nasal FB removal, finger dislocation reduction, eye pressure management (tonopen), supervision of splinting, nasal packing
o All Ages
o Procedures : Laceration repair, abscess/paronychia I&D, ocular/auricular/nasal FB removal, finger dislocation reduction, eye pressure management (tonopen), supervision of splinting, nasal packing
Qualifications
Must be ok with traveling to both sites as needed. Sites are 11 Miles away from each other.
Rapid Care Patients (Low Acuity patient complaints, based on standard inclusion/exclusion criteria)

o REQUIRED: Completed PA Control Substance Course - BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association)
Working Hours
3 patients per hour but could go up/down depending on patient flow40-hour schedules and both ER and Urgent Care coverage available.
11a-11p (12 hour shifts) Minimum commitment of 3 shifts/wk required
Estimated 22 Patients per shift in UC, 20-30 in ER (9 Hour shift)
Skills
prefer ER experience but willing to consider UC PA’s only
