Job description TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency medicine physician to join our dynamic emergency department team at UT Health Midtown, a Level I trauma center in Tyler, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to care for a broad spectrum of emergency and trauma patients in one of East Texas's premier tertiary referral centers.

  • Flexible Scheduling: We strive to support work-life balance by allowing physicians to shape their schedule (within operational needs), with opportunities for preferred shift patterns and partial self-scheduling

Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM)
  • Active or eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license and DEA certification
  • Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting
