Franciscan Health Michigan City is seeking a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join a well-supported Emergency Department averaging ~85 encounters per day. Candidate Qualifications
- BE/BC in Emergency Medicine (MD/DO)
- ATLS and ACLS required
- Comfortable practicing in a high-volume ED with APP support
- Team-oriented and quality-focused
Compensation & Benefits
Base Hourly Rates + RVU Upside
- Day / Mid Base Rate: $182.48/hour
- Night Base Rate: $202.48/hour
- RVU Rate: $7.04 per RVU
- Target Compensation: $250/hour (base + RVUs)
This compensation model provides a strong guaranteed base with meaningful upside for efficient, high-performing physicians.
Estimated Annual Compensation (Based on 1,440 Hours)
- Base Only (Days): ~$262,800
- Base Only (Nights): ~$291,600
- At Target Productivity ($250/hour):
- $360,000 annually
- Upside Potential:
- High performers can exceed the $250/hour target through RVU production
