A medical facility in Massachusetts is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team. The role involves working across two hospitals, focusing on emergency medical care.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On-site
- Shift: Varied
- Schedule: Morning and night shifts, including weekends
- Hours: 12, 8, and 11 hour shifts
- Setting: Emergency Department
Responsibilities:
The Emergency Medicine Physician will be responsible for:
- Providing emergency medical care in a Level III trauma setting
- Collaborating with hospitalists for admissions
- Managing a high-volume emergency department
- Utilizing EMR system Meditech for patient records
- Ensuring compliance with hospital protocols
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS Certifications
- Proficient in Meditech EMR
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively under pressure
- Adaptable to varied shifts and schedules
- Detail-oriented in documentation
Desired Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Emergency Medicine
- Residency in Emergency Medicine
- Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification
- Proficiency in emergency procedures
- Exceptional teamwork ability
