Position Overview

SCP Health, a physician-founded and physician-led organization, is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join the Emergency Department at Carlinville Area Hospital, a community-focused acute care facility located in Carlinville, Illinois.
This opportunity offers a moderate-volume Emergency Department, 12- or 24-hour physician shifts, and the ability to practice broad-scope emergency medicine supported by state-of-the-art equipment in a collaborative hospital environment.

- Patient Volume: 7,000 ED visits annually
- Specialties: Emergency Medicine
- Coverage Model: Physician coverage with 12- or 24-hour shifts

Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Licensure: Illinois medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Experience: Prior Emergency Department experience preferred
- Clinical Skills: Broad emergency medicine skill set appropriate for a community hospital setting
- Badges: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ability to obtain)
