Position Overview

• Patient Volume: 45,000

• Specialties: Emergency Medicine, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Neurology, ENT, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, General Surgery, Facial Trauma Surgery and Cardiology

• Coverage Model: 12-hour shifts, 10 shifts per month | 12-hour mid-level coverage

• Number of Beds: 32

• Acuity: Medium

• EMR: Epic

• Admissions/Transfers: 10% admission rate


Qualifications

• Licensure: Arkansas medical license (or ability to obtain)

• Board Certification: ABEM

• Experience: Prior EM experience required

• Skills & Procedures: Broad EM skills set appropriate for a critical access facility

• Badges: ATLS, PALS, BLS

About CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs EM: At CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs is a 280-bed, faith-based, not-for-profit hospital. The hospital proudly serves Hot Springs and the surrounding southwest Arkansas region with compassionate, high-quality care. The Emergency Department is staffed 24/7 by certified emergency physicians, specialized nurses, and trauma experts. With around-the-clock access to general, orthopedic, radiology, and neurosurgical specialists, the Level II Trauma Center offers immediate, comprehensive treatment for patients of all ages. As the only Level II Trauma Center in southwest Arkansas, CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs is the regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, neurosciences, orthopedics, oncology, critical care, and pulmonary conditions. Clinicians enjoy a collegial, team-oriented environment where physicians collaborate closely and support one another to provide the highest quality of care.
