- Patient Volume: 24,500 annual ED volume
- Specialties: Cath lab, CT scan, ICU, MRI, Physical Therapy, Behavioral Management/Psychiatry, OB/GYN, Neurosurgery, Peds, Ortho, Urology, Trauma
- Coverage Model: 24 Hours Physician Coverage - 12 hour shifts; 20 Hours APP Coverage - 10 hour shifts
- Number of Beds: 13 bed ED (8 regular rooms, 2 negative pressure, 2 trauma rooms, 1 cardiac)
- Acuity: Level III Trauma Center
- EMR: Cerner
- Admissions/Transfers: Complex Peds got to Corpus Christi or San Antonio
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Texas Medical License and DEA
- Board Certification: Board Certified ABEM
- Badges: ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
