Job description
Berkshire Medical Center is actively seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for locum coverage. This opportunity will involve floating between Berkshire Medical Center (BMC) and North Adams Hospital, with the greatest need for morning and night shifts.
Massachusetts-licensed providers with strong availability will be prioritized.

Codes: Emergency Medicine physicians are NOT responsible for codes

Response Time Requirement: 30 minutes

OB Patients: Sent directly to Labor & Delivery

EMS/Radio Oversight: Yes

Required Qualifications

Active Massachusetts medical license – Highly preferred / priority given

ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)

BLS/ACLS or ATLS – Required

Clean background for expedited credentialing

Self-Query NPDB (pulled within the past month at time of presentation)

Availability must be clearly listed with submission
