Clinical Setting & Scope

• Trauma Level: Level III Trauma Center.

• Volume: Annual ER volume of approximately 55,000 visits.

• Admission Rate: Approximately 30% of ED patients are admitted daily.

• Responsibilities: * Standard Emergency Medicine services.

  • Monitoring/supervising Paramedics and Ambulance crews via radio.

  • Note: Emergency Physicians are not responsible for codes; deliveries are sent directly to Labor & Delivery.

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) is Required.

• Licensure: Active Massachusetts (MA) license is Highly Preferred.

• Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and ATLS are Required.

• Logistics: Candidates must be local (no flights will be reimbursed).

• Background: A clean background is required for expedited credentialing.

• Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report (dated within the month) is required at the time of presentation.
