This regional medical center serves as a vital healthcare provider for the local community and surrounding areas. The facility features a 22-bed emergency department with modern technology including Meditech 6.1 EMR system and offers comprehensive emergency care services to approximately 32,000 patients annually.
Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
• Coverage for 12-hour shifts (7P-7A) beginning Sunday, March 22nd
• Standard solo Emergency Room coverage
• Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS (mandatory requirement)
• Work with 2 mid-level providers in split coverage model
• Manage approximately 18-20 patients in a 12-hour shift
• Total daily patient volume of 90-100 patients
• Open ICU environment
• Board certification required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 14 days
• Hospital provides housing in hospital-owned apartments
• Travel costs capped at $500
• 24-hour availability of support services including Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology
• Must have active North Carolina medical license
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
