Facility:
This facility is a regional tertiary referral center with 330 beds, serving as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The brand new state-of-the-art 40-bed Emergency Department handles 42,000 patient visits annually and features excellent resources including a full complement of specialists and subspecialists in a collaborative environment.

Physician - EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN
Job Details:
• Position available for 2026 due to upcoming retirements and expansion • Practice in a hub-and-spoke care model with approximately half of shifts in Duluth and half in regional EDs • Work in Duluth's ED with 8-9 hour shifts; double & triple physician coverage with additional APP support • Opportunity to work in regional sites including Aurora, Virginia, Moose Lake, Sandstone, Deer River, and Superior WI (volumes 3.5K-12K patients/year) • Regional sites offer flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts or optional 24-hour shifts • Full spectrum of emergency medicine care including pediatrics • Collaborate with PICU/NICU teams, pediatric sub-specialists, neuro-interventional team, STEMI team, and more • Access to telemedicine support (stroke, psychiatry, NICU, hospice, cardiology) • Teaching opportunities available with family medicine residents and medical students • Strong nursing team with excellent retention and supportive behavioral health resources • Must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine • Excellent team player who works well with the entire ED team, consultants, and patients • Strong commitment to caring for patients both in Duluth and regionally • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance • 401(k) plan with employer contributions • Professional development through training, tuition reimbursement, and educational programs • Flexible scheduling and generous time off
