This healthcare facility is a well-established medical center providing comprehensive urgent care and emergency medicine services to the Zanesville community. The facility features a 5-bed department with 24-hour availability of key support services including anesthesia, laboratory, radiology, and various surgical specialties.
Opportunity:
Physician - Family Medicine - Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine - Urgent Care
Job Details:
• Provide urgent care services with high patient volume (30-40 patient encounters per shift)
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Maintain active Ohio medical license (required for consideration)
• Work in a Level 3 trauma facility with Level 2 pediatric capabilities
• Benefit from 24-hour availability of comprehensive support services including anesthesia, cardio-thoracic surgery, catheterization lab, general surgery, laboratory, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, radiology, and vascular surgery
• Collaborate with L&D department (newborn deliveries are not received in the ED)
• Maintain required certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Start date is ASAP with ongoing assignment opportunities
• Work with a dedicated healthcare team focused on quality patient care
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
