Prefer someone who can help out consistently each month.


Comp: $300/hr

* Location: Southern IL
* Need: 6 - 12 shifts per month; They would like someone who can help out consistently, long term
* Model: Staggered Shifts for both Physicians and APPs
* 50 hours of Physician coverage & 30 hours APP coverage per Day
* Shift Times: Each Physician shift is 10 hours each
- Day shift: 6a-4p
- Day shift #2: 8a-6p
- Staggered shift: 1p-11p
- Late shift: 4p-2a
- They have dedicated night docs: 9p-7a.
- Currently during week due to higher volumes they have 10-12 hours of extra coverage by either Physicians or APPs depending upon availability; This shift is 12p-10p for Physicians as an extra coverage shift on those busy days
* APPs have 12 hour shifts: APPs are 10a-10p / 1p-1a / 12p-12a
* Average 14-18 patients per Physician and 2-6 patients with APPs. Supervising.
* Annual ED visits: Approximately 45k visits per year
* ED Admit Rate: 18-20%
* Patient Mix: Adults 75% / Peds 25%
* EMR: Cerner
* Full call coverage with all sub-specialties including Cardiology, GI, Pulm CC, Nephrology (w/ Dialysis), ID, Inpatient Psych, Neurology, Hospitlalists, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Vascular Surgery
* On-site Intensivist program for Adult ICU
* Hospital does not have CT Surgery, Neurosurgery or Pediatric Critical Care
* Thriving Adult Hospitalist program and Pediatric Hospitalist Program in place
* Quick credentialing
* Travel & Lodging covered
* Medical Malpractice Provided - Including Tail

Requirements:
* ABEM is not required, but they prefer ABEM
* Will accept ABIM, ABFM, ABPS (EM) on a case by case basis by Medical Director
* IL License or IMLC

What we would need from you:
1) Are you licensed in Illinois already? Or do you have the IMLC?
2) How soon are you looking to start and how many shifts per month would you be looking for?
3) Please send me your CV so we can expedite the process.
4) Is there any history of Medical Malpractice claims?
5) Would there be anything that would come up during the Credentialing process, or in something such as a background check or NPDB report that we would need to know about?
