We’re recruiting an Emergency Medicine physician for an ongoing locums opportunity in Southern Minnesota, offering predictable scheduling, moderate volume, and competitive compensation.

Position Highlights

• Provider pay: $275/hr

• 12-hour shifts (days, swings, nights)

• 6–8 shifts per month

• No call

• Epic EMR

• Travel and lodging covered

Practice Setting

• Community hospital Emergency Department

• 11-bed ED

• Average 15–20 patients per day

• Single-coverage physician model

• Strong specialty support including respiratory therapy, behavioral health, tele-intensivist services, orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN, anesthesia, and nursing support

• Full age spectrum including pediatrics through geriatrics

Clinical Scope

• General Emergency Medicine coverage

• Trauma evaluation and stabilization

• Procedural sedation and airway management

• Cardiac and stroke evaluation

• Coordination with on-site and consulting services

• No inpatient rounding or call responsibilities

Requirements

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine

• Active Minnesota medical license required

• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required

• DEA required

• Epic experience preferred

• Comfortable with a single-coverage ED model
