Facility:
This is a Critical Access Hospital with a long-term care facility on-site. The facility includes a 25-bed emergency department that serves the local community with essential emergency and urgent care services. The hospital focuses on providing quality healthcare to rural populations with dedicated staff and resources.
Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine
Job Details:
• Emergency Department Medical Director position with on-site presence for minimum 10 days per month (preferred one week on/one week off schedule, flexible to accommodate provider needs)
• Medical Directorship Call responsibility for the entire month
• Coverage of both ER (24-hour shifts) and Urgent Care (8am-5pm shifts)
• Oversight of 4 APPs who cover remaining ER shifts
• Approximately 4-6 patient encounters per shift
• Must participate in Medical Staff and Provider meetings (2 hours monthly, can be on-site or virtual)
• Experience with critical access hospitals and swing beds preferred
• Board certification eligible required
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• MT license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) qualification necessary
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 120 days
• On-site housing provided
• Nearest airport is Great Falls, MT (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes away)
• Position available ASAP and ongoing
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
