This regional medical facility is part of a comprehensive healthcare system serving the Bay City community and surrounding areas. The emergency department features full support staff including APPs, nursing, tech services, and complete radiology and laboratory services to ensure quality patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:
• Locum tenens position to fill recruitment gap with strictly onsite work, no call responsibilities • Average of 80 patients per day, approximately 1.8 patients per hour for physicians • Variety of shift times available: 0600-1600, 0900-2100, 1400-0000, 2000-0600 • Multiple shifts available from December 2025 through February 2026 • Full ED support with nursing staff, technicians, radiology, and laboratory services • APP support available for 12 hours per shift • EMR system is Cerner • Must be able to perform various procedures including: adult/pediatric outpatient care, newborn resuscitation, non-displaced fracture management, suturing, I&D, central and arterial line placement • Additional skills required: EKG interpretation, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and various emergency medicine procedures • Ability to manage psychiatric patients (adult, child/adolescent, geriatric) • Experience with ventilation management and acute volume/BP issues • Provider must be local - no exceptions • Board Certified (not Board Eligible), will accept Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with minimum 2+ years of recent ED experience • Must hold active Michigan medical license at time of clearance (IMLC not accepted) • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS • Clean background required for expedited credentialing • Must use DocTime for clock in/out (reverse billing system) • Various health requirements including flu vaccine, COVID documentation, TB testing, and other immunization records

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
