Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certified/eligible in emergency medicine, OR board certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine with emergency medicine experience.
- Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.

- Flexible scheduling options are available to support a healthy work-life balance, with 24-hour shifts offered daily, beginning at 7:30 AM.
- Critical access hospital with a 7-bed emergency department
- 25 bed Med/Surg
- Over 11,000 annual visits
- Level IV trauma designation
- No ICU
- EMR: CPSI Thrive likely moving to Cerner in 2025
- Avg 30 pts per day
2/3 of patients during day shifts (20 from 7:30a-7:30p)
1/3 of patients during night shifts (10-15 from 7:30p-7:00a)
Left w/o being seen: .4%
Length of stay admitted: Goal of 4 days
