Rates: $370/hr

Opportunity Highlights

• Night Shift Focus: This assignment is strictly for night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts).

• Manageable Volume: The expected daily census is 55 to 60 patients.

• Supportive Team Structure: You will not work solo. The department has APP coverage during the mid-shift to ensure physician oversight, and all other specialties are available on-site.

• EMR System: The facility uses Cerner for all documentation.

• No Call Required: This assignment is for scheduled shifts only; there is no additional on-call commitment.

• Quick Privileging: The estimated time to secure full or temporary privileges is 60 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care for all patients presenting to the ED.

• Perform normal physician procedures common in an ED setting.

• Manage patient flow across the 80-bed hospital, which handles general surgery, OB/GYN, ortho, cardiology, and more.

• Collaborate with APPs and other consulting services.

Provider Requirements

• Education: MD or DO.

• Board Status: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine is required. FM/IM trained providers will NOT be accepted.

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience.

• Licensure: An active Illinois State License is REQUIRED. We will not accept IMLC candidates.

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.

Start Date

• The target start date is January 5, 2026.
