Facility:
This facility is a regional tertiary referral center with 330 beds designated as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. The emergency department features a brand new state-of-the-art 40-bed unit serving a large catchment area with comprehensive specialist support and collaborative care teams.

Job Details:
• Position available for 2026 with casual/flexible scheduling • Practice in both urban (Duluth) and rural environments with hub-and-spoke care model • Main ED in Duluth sees 42K patients annually with 8-9 hour shifts • Double & triple physician coverage with additional APP support 7 days/week • Regional sites (Aurora, Virginia, Moose Lake, Sandstone, Deer River, and Superior WI) see 3.5K-12K patients annually • Flexible scheduling across multiple locations based on physician preference • Regional sites offer 12-hour shifts with some optional 24-hour shifts • Full spectrum emergency medicine care including pediatrics • Work with comprehensive specialist support including PICU/NICU teams, pediatric sub-specialists, neuro-interventional team, STEMI team • Teaching opportunities available with FM residents and medical students • Telemedicine support (stroke, psychiatry, NICU, hospice, cardiology) • Strong nursing team with excellent retention and supportive work environment • Comprehensive behavioral health resources including psychiatry consult service, social work, case management • Must be an excellent team player who works well with the entire ED team, consultants, and patients • Strong commitment to caring for patients both in Duluth and regional sites
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
