Facility:
This facility is a regional tertiary referral center with 330 beds, designated as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. It features a brand-new state-of-the-art 40-bed emergency department serving a large catchment area with comprehensive specialist and subspecialist support.

Board Certified/Board Eligible - Emergency Medicine Physician
Job Details:
• Casual position with flexible scheduling in Duluth and regional emergency departments • Work in a hub-and-spoke care model across both urban and rural environments • Duluth ED sees approximately 42,000 patients annually with 8-9 hour shifts • Double & triple physician coverage with additional APP support 7 days/week • Regional sites include Aurora, Virginia, Moose Lake, Sandstone, Deer River, and Superior WI • Regional sites handle 3,500-12,000 patients/year with various shift options (12-hour or optional 24-hour) • Full spectrum of emergency medicine care including pediatrics • Opportunity to teach FM residents and medical students if interested • Work with excellent behavioral health resources including psychiatry consult service, social work, and case management • Collaborate with strong nursing staff and kind, collaborative consultants • Must be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine • Position requires excellent teamwork skills and commitment to caring for patients in both Duluth and regional locations • Telemedicine support available for stroke, psychiatry, NICU, hospice, and cardiology • Position planned to be filled in 2026
