Locum Emergency Medicine MD/DO in Laredo, TX
Facility: Laredo Medical Center - Level III Trauma
ASAP Start
LOA: Ongoing Shifts through 2026
57K annual patient encounters
Laredo Medical Center is your community healthcare provider: a 326-bed, acute care facility with more than 49 specialties and subspecialties, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, obstetrics, orthopedics, urology, wound care, emergency medicine and bariatrics.
Eight private exam rooms, including specialized trauma and OB/isolation rooms;
Three private triage bays;
On-site radiology and lab services; and
Care provided by board-certified emergency physicians and skilled LMC clinical staff.
Active medical license in any U.S. state
Active Texas DEA (must reflect Texas address)
Board Certified in ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM (or osteopathic equivalents)
Must be residency-trained in specialty
Certified in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
Current ATLS not required for ABEM-certified physicians (initial ATLS certificate sufficient)
Annual Requirements:
9 hours of Stroke CME
9 hours of Trauma CME
