Independent Contractor Role - 1099
Compensation: ($200.00/per hr.)

- Perform a full range of physician services in accordance with privileges granted by the MTF.
- Direct, perform, or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities.
- Examine, diagnose, treat or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.
- Provide preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors, and self-care skills through education and counseling.
- Order diagnostic tests as applicable as well as request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
- Technically proficient in directing and teaching other medical staff, providing educational lectures and participating in the provision of in-service training to clinic staff members. Such direction and interaction will adhere to Government and professional clinical standards and accepted clinical protocols.
Job Responsibilities
Part Time 5-10 shifts a month
12 hour shifts
Job Specific Details and Tasks:

Order diagnostic tests as applicable as well as request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.

Qualifications
(EM) residency acceptable to the USAF Surgeon General and be board eligible/certified by the
American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency
Medicine.
• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: BLS is required The HCW shall hold
and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) (Course C), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS),
Pediatric Life Supports (PALS). The HCW must have completed Advanced Trauma Life Support
certification at some point, but a current certification is not required. BLS/ACLS/PALS
certifications must be through the American Heart Association or a Red Cross-approved training
program. Members must present proof of current certification(s). Computer-based training does
not constitute fulfilling the training requirements. Must maintain currency at NO cost to the
government. Recertification is NOT provided by the MTF. Credential may not lapse for any
period of time.
• Experience Physicians shall meet the experience, training, and certification requirements for the
appropriate level of emergency medical staff physician in accordance with regulations. Minimum 3 years experience in ER.

• Board Certification : Board eligible/certified by the American Board of Emergency
Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
• Nevada DEA. Nevada CSR
• Licensure/Registration: Maintain a current, unrestricted Nevada Medical License.
Working Hours
Sunday - Saturday, 10 hour shifts, days, swings, and nights as needed.
Pick up 5-8 shifts per month as needed.
