Step into a collaborative, fully staffed Emergency Department with excellent APP, nursing, lab, and radiology support. This ED environment offers the benefits of high-quality care without the pressure of over-volume.

🔢 ED Volume:

• 80 patients/day total

• 1.8 patients/hour per physician

• 12-hour APP coverage during peak

💻 EMR: Cerner
👥 Full ED support: RNs, techs, lab, radiology on-site
🧑‍⚕️ Reverse billing via Kronos – no paper timesheets

🔧 Procedures You’ll Perform:

(Comfort with full ED scope required – no procedural outsourcing)

✅ Airway/Ventilation Management (up to 24 hours)
✅ Newborn Resuscitation
✅ Central & Arterial Lines
✅ Lumbar Puncture
✅ Paracentesis
✅ EKG Interpretation
✅ Ortho: Non-displaced Fx
✅ Sutures, I&Ds, Arthrocentesis
✅ Psych (uncomplicated adult/child/geriatric)
✅ Industrial Injury Management
✅ Critical Care and EM-specific procedures

📌 Requirements:

📍 Local to Michigan
📜 MI License – active & in hand (IMLC not accepted)
🎓 Board Certified in IM or FM (no BE)
⏳ 2+ years ED experience (within past 3 years) – required

🎯 Certifications – Must-Have:

• ✅ ACLS

• ✅ BLS

• ✅ PALS
