Facility:
This is a regional emergency medicine practice with a hub-and-spoke care model. The facility includes a brand new state-of-the-art 40-bed ED in Duluth, serving as the region's tertiary referral center with 330 beds and Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma designations. The practice also extends to six regional EDs in Aurora, Virginia, Moose Lake, Sandstone, Deer River, and Superior WI.
Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician
Join a regional Emergency Medicine team where excellence in patient care and camaraderie are key. This position offers variety in your practice by working roughly half of your shifts in Duluth and half at a subset of regional EDs, with flexible scheduling among teammates.
Job Details:
- 0.8 FTE position with flexible scheduling
- Annual ED volume of 42K patients/year in Duluth with 8 and 9 hour shifts
- Double & triple physician coverage with additional APP support 7 days/week
- Regional sites have annual volumes of 3.5K-12K patients/year with 12-hour or optional 24-hour shifts
- Full spectrum of emergency medicine care including pediatrics
- Opportunity to teach residents and medical students if interested
- Large catchment area with full complement of collaborative specialists and subspecialists

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
