Join a mission-driven team at Davis Medical Center in Elkins, West Virginia, where you’ll practice Emergency Medicine in a 21-bed Emergency Department that sees approximately 23,400 annual visits (~64 patients per day). The department was recently renovated and serves a six-county region in one of West Virginia’s most scenic and community-oriented towns.

We are actively recruiting Board Eligible or Board-Certified physicians in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.

Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers in a team-based emergency department model.
• Participate in patient admissions and discharges, with a current admission rate of approximately 8%.
• Utilize Paragon EMR to document and manage patient care.
• Serve the medical needs of a rural, underserved population with compassion and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
• Prior Emergency Medicine experience required for FM or IM-trained physicians.
• Eligible to work as an independent contractor (1099 model).
• Active or eligible West Virginia medical license (preferred).

• Comfort working in a rural emergency setting with a diverse patient population.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Paragon.
