This high-impact opportunity allows you to float between two busy community hospitals in western Massachusetts—offering variety, volume, and full APP and hospitalist support.

🏥 About the Role:

• Shift Needs: Priority given to overnight availability (7p–7a)

• Locations: Float between two hospitals within a close radius

• Volume: Combined 55,000+ annual ED visits

• Beds: 32

• Trauma Level: III

• Shifts: 12 hours (day/night options available; overnights prioritized)

• Admission Support: Hospitalists handle all admissions

• EMR: Meditech

• Paramedic Radio Oversight: Yes

• Births: Directed to L&D – no deliveries in ED

• On-Call Response Time: 30 minutes (as per bylaws)

• Housing: Hotel accommodations provided for traveling clinicians

• Credentialing: Temp privileges available for qualified candidates

👥 Support Team:

• Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on site

• Hospitalists admit – EM docs focus solely on ER care

• No code responsibilities – streamlined focus on emergency care

✅ What You’ll Need:

• MA Medical License – active and in good standing (highly preferred)

• Board Certified/Eligible – ABEM or AOBEM (within 5 years of residency)

• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS

• Clean Background – for expedited credentialing

• Local Candidates Preferred – no flights
