Looking for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity in scenic Western Massachusetts? Join a supportive, well-staffed emergency department with the flexibility and stability you want in a locums role.
We’re seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to float between two respected community hospitals – with an urgent need for overnight coverage (7p–7a). If you’re MA-licensed and ready to jump in, you'll be at the top of our list!
Job Responsibilities
🕐 12-hour shifts – primarily overnights (7p–7a)
🏥 Level III Trauma Center | 32 ED beds
📈 Annual ER Volume: 55,000 visits
🩺 Admissions handled by hospitalist service – no admissions required
💻 EMR: Meditech
🤝 APP support on shift
🚑 Radio medical control required for EMS
🧑⚕️ Direct delivery patients go to L&D – not ED
🏨 Hotel accommodation reimbursed – comfortable and convenient
Qualifications
🔒 Active Massachusetts License – Highly Preferred
✅ Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS
📜 Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (within 5 years of residency)
🚫 Clean background for quick credentialing
