Join a community-focused freestanding Emergency Department in Pomeroy, OH. Client seeks experienced ABMS or AOA Board-Certified IM/FM physicians to provide locum ED coverage at Meigs ED. This facility sees a low to moderate volume (25–35 patients/day) and offers a collaborative care environment with mid-level support.

🔹 Position Highlights:

• Start Date: ASAP once credentialed (45–60 days)

• Shift Schedule:

  • 24-hour physician coverage: 8a–8p, 8p–8a

  • Mid-level support: 12p–12a

• Volume: ~25–35 patients/day

• Trauma: Non-designated; transfers go to tertiary centers

• Admissions: Handled by Hospitalists at main campus

• Documentation: Self-managed (no scribes)

• EMR: [Not specified – can be added if available]

• Malpractice included in $300/hr rate

• All travel booked by OVP | Med staff fees not reimbursed

• Submit provider to all 3 Holzer sites: Meigs, Jackson, Gallipolis

✅ Requirements:

• Board Certified (ABMS or AOA) in IM or FM – Required, no exceptions

• OH License or IMLC w/ LOQ proof within 3 days – Required

• COVID Vaccination – Required

• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP – All Required

• 2+ years of recent ED experience – Required

• Must be available for nights and weekends – Specify at name clear

• Malpractice must be included in rate – $300/hr cap – Required
