A well-supported emergency department in Bay City, MI is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician (or BC IM/FM with 2+ years recent ED experience) to provide locum coverage during a recruitment gap. This is a great opportunity to work in a fully staffed ED with access to radiology, lab, nursing, techs, and APP support.

🔹 Position Details:

• Patient Volume: ~80/day | 1.8 patients/hr per physician

• Support Staff: 12-hour APP coverage + full ED support

• EMR: Cerner

• Schedule: Flexible coverage needs; exact availability required
  

🛠️ Required Skills/Procedures:

• Adult & Pediatric Outpatient

• Newborn Resuscitation

• Orthopedic care, Suturing, Incision & Drainage

• Uncomplicated Psychiatric Evaluation (all ages)

• Ventilation Management

• Acute volume/BP management

• Central & Arterial Lines, EKG Interpretation

• Arthrocentesis, Lumbar Puncture, Paracentesis

• Comprehensive EM Procedures

✅ Requirements:

• Board Certified EM or BC IM/FM w/ 2+ years ED experience – Required

• Active MI License – Required at submission (no IMLC)

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS – Required

• Clean background for expedited credentialing – Required

• Local providers only – no exceptions

• Rate Cap: $310/hour (submit with availability)
