We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine physician for ongoing locum coverage in North Dakota. The site offers a dynamic environment that feels like a larger hospital but operates as a critical access facility, supported by a strong team and infrastructure.
Key Details:
Shifts: 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm or 6pm–6am)
Schedule: Ongoing needs with open dates available
Support: 12 hours of APP coverage daily (10a–10p)
Census: 1.5–2 patients/hour on average
EMR: Meditech
Orientation: Paid after 8 hours at half rate
Credentialing: ~4 weeks or less; Temps available
Travel: Flight, hotel, rental car, mileage – all covered
Holiday Pay: Negotiable, preferred at regular hourly
Requirements:
Board Certified – ABEM only
Active ND License or IMLC
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS (REQUIRED)
Must be comfortable with:
▪️ Intubations
▪️ Central Lines
▪️ Chest Tubes
▪️ OB/GYN and Deliveries
▪️ Pediatric & Adult Resuscitation
▪️ Full-spectrum ED procedures
