Emergency Medicine Opportunity - Community-Based Hospital Setting
Location: Weston, WV - Morgantown 55m
Employment Type: Full-Time, permanent position
Setting: Emergency Department | General Hospital
Position Highlights:
* Provide emergency and inpatient care within a 70-bed community hospital
* Resuscitate, stabilize, evaluate, and refer patients as needed
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care
* Support from flagship hospital in Morgantown
* Serve Lewis, Gilmer, Braxton, and Upshur counties
### Hospital:
* General medical and surgical facility
* Joined Health System in 2017
* Committed to providing care to rural West Virginia communities
Qualifications:
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school
* Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, or Anesthesiology
* Board Eligible or Board Certified
* Unrestricted West Virginia medical license
* Valid DEA certificate
* Current CPR and ACLS/PALS required
* ATLS certification required (unless ABEM-certified)
* NRP recommended
* Credentialed and privileged to practice emergency medicine at Hospital
