It's designated as a Level 3 trauma center and offers comprehensive emergency services with 24-hour laboratory and radiology support. The hospital maintains strong connections with the local community and provides critical healthcare services to residents and visitors in this scenic part of Wisconsin.
Opportunity: Certified - Emergency Medicine
This position offers 10-12 night shifts (5pm-6am) per month with a manageable patient load of 17-23 encounters per shift. The opportunity provides an excellent work-life balance while serving a vibrant community in a beautiful natural setting.
Job Details:
- Night shift schedule (5pm-6am)
- 10-12 shifts per month required
- Average of 17-23 patient encounters per shift
- Board certification required
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Level 3 trauma center
- 24-hour availability of anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, orthopedic surgery, and radiology
- ED receives newborn deliveries
- Labor & Delivery department on-site
- Start date July 1, 2025 with ongoing opportunity
- 60-90 day credentialing timeframe
- Act 10 acceptable
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice insurance included.
